Dan Butterworth has performed  and made sets for three movies. Anima directed by Craig Richardson has won numerous awards. A thrilling haunting story that used Dan’s marionettes and sets in numerous segments.


Just now Dan has worked on ‘Tanner Hall’ to be released in the Spring. In this he portrays a seedy puppeteer in a run down carnival. (His specialty).


Dan Butterworth has worked on two operas.


The Enormous Egg with Opera Delaware used a Butterworth singing Triceratops.


In 2006 Dan was the set designer for the Johann Strauss opera Die Fledermaus at the Paladium Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida. He also performed a short skit during the opera as well.Moveable sets, transforming flats were all employed in this production.
